We received the visit of the members of the European project Ecoris3

Last Tuesday 23 May at IKOR we received a visit from the partners of the ECORIS3 European project, within the framework of the Interreg Europe call for projects and led by San Sebastian’s Ministry of Development.

This project will have a duration of 5 years (2017-2021) and aims to strengthen the local ecosystems of Innovation of the participating cities and regions. It will analyse the local policies promoted by the local ecosystems of innovation among the partners of the project, in addition to identifying the existing relationships between local agents with the ecosystem: research and development, the industry and business fabric, and also with the entities most closely linked to Education and Knowledge.

The members of this Agreement, led by San Sebastian’s Ministry of Development are:

  • Sunrise Valley (Vilnius)
  • CIT Cork Institute of Technology (Ireland)
  • Adrave - Regional Development Agency (Portugal)
  • CAAC, Conferencia Ciudades Arco Atlántico (France)
  • Kainuu Etu -Regional Development Agency (Finland)
  • Videzme Region (Letonia)
  • Torino City (Italy)

Last 23 and 24 May the first meeting was held to launch the ECORIS3 project in Talent House, where the participating partners shared the instruments that already exist in each one of their regions. As part of the programme of activities, the European consortium visited IKOR’s installations and the IOT Space Laboratories of the University of Tecnun, as local partners of the ecosystem.

At IKOR we want to thank San Sebastian’s Ministry of Development once again for counting on us as a local partner for ECORIS3.
