IKOR receives the GAC Award for the SIVI project

We are delighted to inform you that last Tuesday IKOR received the GAC award in the Basque Industry 4.0 programme for the SIVI project that we have carried out in collaboration with the Vicomtech-IK4 Technology Centre and whose main objective is the implementation of an operator assistance system in processes of manual assembly of electronic components using artificial vision.

Basque Industry 4.0 is a Basque Government programme which aims to support industrial research and experimental development projects that address the transfer of technology from technological suppliers to industrial manufacturing companies in the field of IECTs for Advanced Manufacturing and which have a demonstration effect and therefore make it possible to accelerate the transfer of the results of the R&D projects in IECTs to the market.

The award was presented by José Antonio Martínez, CEO of GAC Group Spain. GAC is a consultancy specialising in strengthening R&D&I capabilities which offers companies a wide range of services with local advice from a global perspective. The GAC awards are presented as recognition of the work of some of the companies with which GAC collaborates to enhance their R&D&I capabilities and which have obtained public funding.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank GAC for their trust, support and involvement in the carrying out of this project.
