IKOR will strengthen its position in China thanks to the financial support from COFIDES

IKOR Electronic Systems will strengthen its position in China thanks to the financial support from COFIDES (Spanish Development Finance). COFIDES will give Chinakor Electronic Systems, IKOR’s subsidiary in China, a loan from the Fund for Investments Abroad (FIEX). With this contribution, IKOR will expand its manufacturing lines and service growing demand in this sector.

Over the next few days we have Tina Coleman visiting us from Riverwood Solutions Consultancy. The purpose of this visit is to review our processes and procedures in order to comply with FDA regulations (Food and Drug Administration of USA). Fulfilling these strict requirements of this American regulations, IKOR will be able to, through ILINE Microsystems, access the american market with their portable systems for the control Oral Anticoagulant Therapy.

IKOR, protagonist of the programme “Manufacturing: Made in Spain” by TVE1

IKOR was the main feature in the last episode of the second season of the programme Manufacturing: Made in Spain. During two days a team from TVE has been filming our coagulometer manufacturing process at the plant that IKOR has in San Sebastian.
Coagulometers control the anticoagulant treatment and reduce the risk of complications associated with the use of these drugs. Today 1.5% of the population use anticoagulants and the data shows that these figures are increasing. Electronic devices are increasingly present in the healthcare sector, offering many possibilities and improving the quality of life of many patients.
“Manufacturing: Made in Spain" is an informative programme, dedicated to showing how different everyday products made by Spanish companies are manufactured.
