IKOR, a participant in the ENTREPENARI Programme

Last Friday, IKOR, along with a number of other companies, had the opportunity to attend the Advisory Council of the Entrepenari Programme which was meeting for the first time at the University of the Basque Country (UPV).


The aim of this meeting was to increase the number of business contacts within the province, in order to boost the results of the technology transfer strategies of the Gipuzkoa campus. The Entrepenari Programme is designed and managed by the University of the Basque Country and Bic Gipuzkoa, and its objective is to encourage, advise and support entrepreneurs and to create innovative companies with a scientific/technological base.

The meeting was chaired by the vice-chancellor of the campus, Agustín Erkizia, and the provincial representative for Economic Promotion, Rural Environment and Territorial Balance of Gipuzkoa, Ainhoa Aizpuru. The Director of Development of the Campus of Gipuzkoa and External Relations, Fernando Tapia, also participated.

And representing the invited companies, with the aim of generating greater synergies to foster further development and to take full advantage of the activities proposed by the programme, were: Jokin Lopetegi, Director of Corporate Development and New Business at Caf; Juan Carlos Cantalapiedra, CEO of Irizar e-Mobility; Antxon López, Innovation Director of Danobat Group; Eduardo Junkera, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Egile Corporation XXI, S.L; Xabier Berasategi, CEO of TTT Group; Aitor Larruskain, manager of IKOR Technology Centre; Marisa Arriola, CEO of BIC Gipuzkoa; and Lorea Varona, technical coordinator at BIC Gipuzkoa.
